Dr. Shushanik Sargsyan is a head of the Centre for Scientific Information Analysis and Monitoring, Institute for Informatics and Automation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. She is also an Associate Professor at Yerevan State Medical University since 2012. Dr. Shushanik Sargsyan is an editor in chief of the journal Science Studies and a reviewer in some international journals. Her research interests are Science Studies, particularly Scientometrics and Science Policy. She has authored and co-authored a manual and dozens of scientific papers published in domestic and international journals and conference proceedings.
Dr. Giovanni Abramo is holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees respectively in engineering from the University of Rome “Sapienza”, and in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is the head and founder of the Laboratory for Studies in Research Evaluation at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) (https://sites.google.com/view/laboratoriortt), and president and founder of spin-off company “Research Value”. He is also an Honorary Professor of Management at the University of Waikato, New Zealand; and an Adjunct Professor of Management of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, Italy. He has been director of the Institute for System Analysis and Computer Science of CNR, and has acted as a consultant to the United Nations, the European Commission, and a number of national and local government administrations and institutions. His research interests focus on quantitative studies of science, with a concentration in evaluative scientometrics aimed at informing research management and policy.
Dr. Domenico Augusto Maisano is an Full Professor of “Quality Engineering” and “Quality Management Systems” at the Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy, Department of Management and Production Engineering. He is also a member of A.I.Te.M. (Italian Association of Technology and Mechanics). Dr. Maisano is among the editorial board of the Quality Engineering journal, and a reviewer in many international journals. His research interests are Scientometrics, Quality Engineering/Management, Large Volume Metrology and Performance Indicators. He has co-authored 4 monographs and more than 100 papers published in international journals and conference proceedings, as well as two patent applications.
Dr. Victor Blaginin, Ural State University of Economics, head of the Department of Scientometrics, Research and Ratings. Victor Blaginin is an author of more than 100 scientific publications also in the journals indexed in WOS and Scopus.Professional interests – scientometrics, research fields, assessment of scientific journals, etc. He has held a number of scientific grants and was awarded with the RF Presidential Grant.
Anna Treadway, executive editor of Web of Science, Clarivate Analytics (since 2019).
Previously she was head of multidisciplinary open access journal Scientific Reports and the BMC Series of open access journals at Springer Nature as well as leading the broad scope humanities and social science journal Palgrave Communications, clinical trial registry ISRCTN and the open access journals supplements programme. And before it Ms. Treadway spent 10 years at Informa.
Kirill Ivanov joined Elsevier in February 2021. As Research Intelligence Customer Consultant, he supports the company’s academic, corporate, and government customers in Central Asia, the Caucasus region, and Turkey with data solutions, strategic consulting, and staff training.
Before joining Elsevier, Kirill was Lead Analyst at RAEX International Group, where he coordinated data acquisition and the compilation of The Three University Missions world rankings, supervised the company’s analytical software development and academic consulting projects. Before that he held various positions in software localisation and international relations.
Kirill holds an MSc in Applied Statistics & Network Analysis from HSE University (Moscow), an LL.M. in Private International Law, and a Bachelor’s in Linguistics.
Dr. Alexan Shahkhatuni is a scientific adviser of the Centre for Scientific Information Analysis and Monitoring, Institute for Informatics and Automation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. He is also a senior researcher at the Molecule Structure Research Center of the Scientific Technological Center of Organic and Pharmaceutical Chemistry National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. In 2008-2016 he was a head of the Division for Organizing Scientific Expertise-of the Department for Organizing Scientific Activity of the State Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia.
